I have started to get more interested in classes and courses that I can take in and outside of school. I took a Coyote summer class on photography in which I learned about the balance of contrast and light.
A few years ago I started making cards out of all the pictures I took to give to my family. The first year my cards were a hit so I decided to keep on taking pictures and making cards.
This summer I went on a school kayaking trip to Alaska, where I took many pictures of the scenery and animal life there. After a while, my friends on the trip noticed that I had a nice camera, so any persons first instinct is to mess around with it. After being asked many times, I let my friend Jason take some pictures. Looking back at my pictures I noticed some pretty good shots, that I didn't take. I really liked the pictures that Jason took, so Jason and I decided that we should both sell pictures on my blog. After the Alaska Trip, Jason bought the same camera as me, and now hosts pictures he takes on this blog as well.
